The next multiplayer downloadable content for Max Payne 3 will be available across all platforms next week.
The Hostage Negotiation Pack will be free if you have a Rockstar Pass, but otherwise will cost 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 players and $9.99 for PS3 and PC players when it releases on the 30th of October.
The new DLC includes four new multiplayer maps, each specifically designed for “intense online action.” The Club Moderno and Estádio Do Galatians maps are “designed to deliver intense nightclub and stadium shootouts reminiscent of Max’s earlier dust-ups with some of S£o Paulo’s most dangerous elements like the Comando Sombra and the Crachá Preto.” Meanwhile the O Palácio Strip Club and Favela Heights maps introduce to multiplayer “all new, highly detailed favela territories from Max’s descent into the gang-infested neighborhoods of the city.”
You’ll also get new items such as the new Explosive Burst for explosive booby traps, the Bomb Suit to protect against explosive damage and the Intimidation Mask to slow your enemies reload times down. The DLC will also include two new weapons, the M24 Sniper Rifle and the IA2 Assault Rifle, as well as the new Filhos De Ogum avatar faction.
What do you think of the new DLC for Max Payne 3? Are you a Rockstar Pass holder, and are you going to pick up this new DLC when it releases on Tuesday?
