It seems like an aeon ago since Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation was unveiled during Sony’s press conference at E3 earlier this year. Even since then the game has been held up as an example of the kind of open-world, story-driven experience that the PS Vita is capable of, and Assassin’s Creed fans appear excited to assume the role of the series’ first female assassin: Aveline.

The latest story trailer for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation serves to provide a context for Aveline’s decision to become an assassin, and around the 0:47 mark you see her teaming up with Assassin’s Creed III’s hero Connor.

Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be released exclusively for PS Vita on October 30th in the US and a day later in European territories.
