Gamers of South Africa, you might have already watched the crushing launch trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 here on El33tonline the minute it went live around the world, but we’re going to encourage you to watch it all over again.
Why would you do that?
Thanks to the release of a new version of the trailer, the launch of Black Ops 2 has just got a bit of South African flair added to the mix as quotes from major videogame publications in the country have been included.
Best of all, a quote from El33tonline has been stuck in this new version of the trailer, so watch and enjoy it all over again and look out for it at the 0:36 mark:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – South African Launch Trailer
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out around the world on November 13th across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC – don’t miss El33tonline’s mountains of previous coverage on the title for our hands-on impressions, singleplayer previews, info on zombie modes, tons of screenshots and more videos.
Devon Stanton at South African videogame distributor Megarom was very proud to share this new video with us, and is an example, he says, of how “publishers are starting to look outside of their key territories and start forcusing on other markets, really showing that these guys do want the best for all territories.”
“We’re always working hard to make sure our work in South Africa gets recognised,” says Stanton, “and that we push to get content for our local press in-line with overseas.”
Congratulations to the team at Megarom for doing their part to increase the visibility of the South African videogame market in the eyes of international publishers.
