US PlayStation Store Update for October 16th: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta, free PAYDAY: The Heist for Plus members

This week’s PlayStation Store Update serves up a good selection of fresh PlayStation Plus content along with a bunch of new PS3, PSN and PS Vita titles. Plus members get free access to the co-op FPS PAYDAY: The Heist as well as an early look at the intriguing PSN title The Unfinished Swan. Plus subscribers also have early access to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale multiplayer beta, while PS Vita owners can jump right into the beta regardless of whether they’re a Plus member or not.

The long-waited Silent Hill: Book of Memories and puzzle platformer Dokuro are the two new PS Vita titles this week, while games like DOOM 3: BFG Edition and Of Orcs and Men headline the PS3 and PSN line-ups.

There’s also a fantastic Halloween sale currently running on the Store so be sure to take advantage of these discounts on games like Dead Space 2 and Plants vs. Zombies while the promotion lasts.
