With the launch of the redesigned PlayStation Store imminent, Sony has added a significant new payment option for people who want to add funds to their Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) wallet.
SEN account holders in thirteen European territories can now top up their SEN wallets using PayPal from the official SEN website, with support for this new payment method expected to spread to other countries in the coming weeks.
It’s not clear whether Sony intends to support PayPal as a payment option on the PlayStation Store itself in the near future, but at least you can now top up your wallet without having to use a credit or prepaid card.
Here’s the list of countries currently supporting SEN account top-ups using PayPal:
- Austria
- Luxembourg
- Belgium
- Netherlands
- Finland
- Portugal
- France
- Slovenia
- Greece
- Spain
- Ireland
- United Kingdom
- Italy
