Minecraft getting official Far Cry 3 mod later this monthWritten by: / / No Comments
Ubisoft is calling all you Far Cry fans out there to “face your insanity” in an upcoming PC mod for Minecraft based on the environments, weapons, tools and even characters of Far Cry 3.
The mod will be released on October 26th and will be available as a free download from the official Far Cry website.
Here’s more information on the mod from Ubisoft’s press release:
“This pack allows users to explore and survive the Minecraft experience through the warped lens of Far Cry 3, with modifications to all aspects of the original game, including environments, weapons and tools. Discover key Far Cry 3 locations and characters, including Vaas, Jason and Citra, all completely redesigned in Minecraft style. The map also features over 50 Easter Eggs, hidden throughout the Islands.”
The Far Cry 3 Minecraft mod features the talents of well-known map builder Michael Lambert (Sacr3, creator of Newcraft City) while artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt are responsible for the textures.
