Many PS Vita players who also own a PS3 or Xbox 360 were holding out on the digital re-release of Jet Set Radio so they could experience the game on the handheld’s lovely OLED screen. The PS Vita version of this Dreamcast classic was originally due out this week but unfortunately SEGA announced a last-minute delay earlier today.
SEGA Europe issued the following statement concerning the delay:
“The PlayStation Vita system release date for Jet Set Radio has unfortunately been delayed, due to necessary development optimisations. A final release date will be announced soon.”
Would it have been better for SEGA to announce Jet Set Radio’s delay a week or two before the original launch date rather than during the week it was supposed to be released? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
