There always a bit of confusion surrounding a game’s release date when it’s being developed for multiple platforms including both home and handheld consoles. Thankfully a new trailer for SEGA’s highly anticipated kart racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has shed some light on exactly when the game will be released in North America.
The trailer introduces one of the game’s bonus characters – NASCAR driver Danica Patrick – and reveals that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be released for Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 18th and for PS Vita and 3DS on December 11th in the US. This means it will be one of the many titles featured in the Wii U’s North American launch line-up.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is still scheduled to be released in Europe on November 16th for Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita and 3DS, and for Wii U on November 30th. SEGA hasn’t dated the PC and iOS versions of the game as yet.
