A few weeks ago Ubisoft confirmed that Rayman Legends would be a Wii U launch title but unfortunately the publisher has now revealed that this is no longer the case.

Rayman Legends is currently scheduled to be released worldwide during the first quarter of 2013. Ubisoft had this to say about the delay:

“We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon.”
