Silent Hill: Book of Memories was originally scheduled to be released in March but was delayed for unknown reasons until later this year. This top-down action game may be a far cry from the original Silent Hill series but its co-op elements and nods to the franchise in the form of familiar monsters and weapons could still prove to be an enticing prospect for PS Vita gamers.
Konami recently announced that the game will be released on October 16th in the US and November 2nd in European territories. It will be available at retailers and as a digital download from the PlayStation Store.
A demo was recently released on the European PS Store and will be landing on the US PS Store later today. The demo sets up Book of Memories’ plot and provides players with a fairly large slice of gameplay from the beginning of the game.
