Last week’s Resident Evil 6 trailer out of Tokyo Game Show 2012 seemed to cause concern amongst more traditional Resident Evil fans as they pointed to the video’s explosive scenes and Hollywood blockbuster-style action as another example of how Capcom has moved away from the series’ roots.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trailer on its own merits – it was fun and intriguing to watch, no matter the franchise it represented. The latest alternative trailer for Resident Evil 6 is just as entertaining, but no less Hollywood-inspired – catch it below for some gripping scenes:

Resident Evil 6 is out on October 2nd in the US, Europe, the UK and South Africa across Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC release to follow at a later date.
