After the disappointing news last week that both Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 would miss their scheduled September 21st release dates in South Africa, videogame distributor Megarom has revealed a silver lining to the story.
Megarom had originally pushed the release dates of Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 back to September 27th, due to ‘complications in shipping’ that were outside of the distributor’s control, but today it’s been announced that the games will become available tomorrow, September 26th, “after numerous delays and complications that arouse in getting the products into the country.”
“Since the announced delay, Megarom has been working to resolve the situation to ensure that Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 arrive into the country timeously,” the distributor writes. “Megarom would like to apologise for the delay of these highly anticipated titles and hope that consumers will enjoy the product(s) once they have received their title(s) this Wednesday.”
Is this good news for you, or were you resigned to waiting until Thursday to get either of the games?
