First announced in late 2010, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is a tantalising prospect for gamers who enjoyed both of these series on the DS. The game is due out on November 29th in Japan and Level-5 and Capcom recently teased fans with six new screens from this intriguing 3DS exclusive.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney takes place in medieval times and revolves around a witch trial where a girl is destined to be burned at the stake unless Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright and their respective partners can get to the bottom of the case.

The game hasn’t been confirmed for the West as yet, but it’s highly likely that it will reach our shores at some point in the future.
