UK 3DS eShop Update for September 13th: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Shifting World demo

This week’s 3DS eShop Update has a great mix of old and new. There’s a demo for black and white puzzle platformer Shifting World to sample along with a new DSiWare title that sees you managing a bookshop. There’s also the colourful platformer Crazy Kangaroo to check out as well as the Famicom classic Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

  • Crazy Kangaroo – £3.60 / €4.00

    • A ground-breaking, super-addictive and unbelievably cute platform game from Gamelion that delivers pure awesomeness! Meet Barney, a cute kangaroo who was caught by evil poachers but luckily fell out of the aeroplane and now has to make his way home. By helping him, you two should hop along together just fine! With handcrafted graphics, intuitive motion controls and Circle Pad controls, Crazy Kangaroo is simply perfect. Give it a shot!

  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link – £4.50 / €5.00

    • This direct sequel to the original The Legend of Zelda is famed for taking the series in a new direction, while also introducing elements that would become standard in future Zelda games. In Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Link must seek the Triforce of Courage and awaken Princess Zelda from a sleeping spell. Meanwhile, Ganon’s minions are trying to resurrect their master. Zelda II uses a side-scrolling view and overworld map, and features role-playing aspects that are unique to the series.
