The LEGO range of videogames has been keeping gamers entertained for a number of years now, and LEGO City: Undercover for the Wii U looks set to continue that trend with the humour and parody that this franchise has become known for.

LEGO City: Undercover will see players stepping into the (blocky) shoes of Chase McCain, an undercover detective armed with clever disguises including a firefighter, contruction worker and even a robber, each with unique abilities to help players solve puzzles and access new areas of the city. McCain is on a mission to stop the crime wave that Rex Fury is responsible for in LEGO City.

Fan favourite LEGO City vehicles will help players run, drive and fly through the city, and there are over 100 vehicles for players to collect and use to explore including sports cars, motorcycles and aircraft. Players will use the Wii U GamePad controller as a new police gadget to scan for hidden clues and criminals, receive mission updates and place waypoints on the city map that displays their position in real time.

LEGO City: Undercover hasn’t been dated yet, but we do know that the Wii U will be available on 18th November for the US and 30th November for Europe. North American gamers will have a LEGO Chase McCain figurine included as a special limited edition pre-order bonus.
