UK Software Chart: Sleeping Dogs returns to top spot for week ending September 8th

Written by: / / No Comments

Sleeping Dogs reclaimed the number one position on Chart Track’s latest UK Software Sales listing, marking its third time at the top of the chart since launch. This open-world action game is proving its staying power in relation to its competitors, with last week’s number one Guild Wars 2 dropping to sixth place (sales down 84%).

The only new entry on the chart is The Sims 3: Supernatural in second place. The initial success of this seventh expansion to The Sims 3 just goes to show that this long-running series is far from reaching its sell-by date.

Madden NFL 13 remains in seventh spot despite sales decreasing by 48%. For a country that doesn’t play American football, it certainly seems that enough people are interested in the sport judging by the game’s position on the chart.
