One of the most intriguing titles announced at gamescom was the sci-fi thriller Remember Me – a multiplatform title that’s being published by Capcom and developed by French studio DONTNOD Entertainment. The game takes place in a sinister future (Neo-Paris, 2084) where people’s memories can be bought, sold and even manipulated through a process called “memory remixing”. It’s an intriguing premise that lends itself to suspense and action galore.
Capcom has released 10 minutes of direct-feed footage showing a section of the game being played on PS3. While some of the gameplay is very reminiscent of Uncharted 2, the combat is fast and furious and the game’s highly stylised environments are all wonderfully detailed.

Remember Me is currently scheduled to be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC next May.
