One of the most engrossing and celebrated RPGs in the PlayStation 2’s library will soon be getting a PS Vita release. Persona 4 Golden is a remastered version of the PS2 classic from 2008 featuring new characters, cut-scenes, social links and story elements along with cleaner, sharper visuals.

Earlier today Atlus USA posted nine screenshots of the localised version of Persona 4 Golden on its Facebook page. The screens show new character Marie along with some locations that will be familiar to players of the original game.

Persona 4 Golden is expected to be released in the US later this year. Unfortunately the game is without a European publisher at this point.
