Killzone Trilogy announced, first details and debut screenshots for ‘Killzone HD’ insideWritten by: / / No Comments
Earlier this year there was talk that the original Killzone would be released on PSN as a PlayStation 2 Classic. These plans were seemingly cancelled and now we know why – Guerrilla Games has given the game an HD makeover (720p) and full Trophy support and will bundle it with Killzone 2 and 3 to form the ‘Killzone Trilogy’, out next month on PS3.
The bundle will be released on October 23rd in the US and October 24th in European territories. It will sell for a recommended retail price of $39.99 / €49.99 / £40.84.
The Killzone Trilogy will also feature all the map packs released for Killzone 2 and 3 thus far. These include:
- Steel & Titanium Map Pack (Killzone 2)
- Flash & Thunder Map Pack (Killzone 2)
- Napalm & Cordite Map Pack (Killzone 2)
- Steel Rain Map Pack (Killzone 3)
- Retro Map Pack (Killzone 3)
- From The Ashes Map Pack (Killzone 3)
It’s not yet known if Killzone and Killzone 2 will feature PlayStation Move or 3D support like the third game in the series does.
