At E3 last year, Insomniac (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance) announced Overstrike, an all-new game with publishing partner, EA Partners, and with gameplay details restricted to it being ‘a four-player co-operative first-person shooter,’ the most we knew about the game came from an amazing CG trailer accompanying the reveal.

At PAX Prime this past weekend, Insomniac studio head Ted Price announced that, after going through a few changes, Overstrike is now known as Fuse and with a teaser website having been set up, we waited for our first glimpses of the game.

Today, the teaser site for Fuse has spewed forth a debut trailer, a ‘Mission Briefing’ video, speaking of clandestine operations, research facilities and a damage control mission.

So far so ordinary?

We’re definitely not going to doubt the talents of Insomniac on this one, so we’re looking forward to further details on Fuse, and actual in-game footage, hopefully in the near future:
