Word doing the rounds today is that the European PlayStation Network is due for a spot of maintenance next week, which means the service will be unavailable for just over ten hours.
The scheduled maintenance will begin on September 10th at 4pm BST, and last until the following morning at 5am BST. Sony Computer Entertainment said:
“There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
As you might expect, PlayStation Network users won’t be able to access ‘Account Management’ or browse the PlayStation Store, while some might not be able to sign-into the network as maintenance continues. There’s a chance that if you sign in before SCE begins its work, that you will be able to stay online.
