There isn’t much activity on the 3DS eShop this week in terms of the latest content drop, with only two new titles on offer. Kirby’s Star Stacker is a Game Boy title from 1997 that sees Nintendo’s pink protagonist engage in some light puzzle-based action. iSpot Japan, on the other hand, is a “spot the difference” game featuring a total of 150 photos depicting some of the most beautiful locations from the four main islands of Japan.
Here’s this week’s Update in full:
Kirby’s Star Stacker – £2.70 / €3.00
- Join Kirby in this action-packed puzzle game, as he teams up with his friends Rick, Kine and Coo to stack falling stars. As friend blocks and star blocks rain down randomly from the top of the screen, you must arrange the star blocks between identical friend blocks to remove them. You’ll need quick reflexes and strategic thinking to outwit King Dedede who’s out to stop you. As well as the main game mode you can also pit your wits against the Challenge Mode and Time Attack Mode. Let’s get stacking!
iSpot Japan – £1.80 / €2.00
- iSpot Japan takes you on a journey across the Land of the Rising Sun, explaining facts and curiosities about Japanese culture, while you play the classic “Spot the Difference” game in the country’s most beautiful locations. Find three, four or five differences in each picture (depending on the selected difficulty level) and unlock them in the gallery to learn about local cuisine, historical characters or important monuments, together with their location in the map. Ranging from southern Kyushu to northern Hokkaido, you’ll get to know all of Japan through exclusive beautiful pictures, carefully edited to create visually challenging differences.
