The running of last week’s gamescom 2012 videogame event in Cologne, Germany was once again a grand time, giving gamers across Europe and media from around the world new opportunities to see and go hands-on with exciting, unreleased games from dozens of developers and publishers.

To recognise the achievements and excellence represented by the games on show at gamescom 2012, the recipients of this year’s gamescom awards have been announced with Dishonored, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Rayman Legends leading the list of winners.
