Over the last few years Sega has done a great job of re-releasing classic titles from its software library on digital platforms such as PSN and XBLA. This trend looks set to continue as the publisher will soon release a high-definition port of Jet Set Radio – a cel-shaded Dreamcast title from 2000 that set the gaming world alight with its funky beats and memorable setting.
Sega recently revealed release date and price details for the HD version. PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick it up from September 11th in the US and September 12th in European territories – a week before everyone else. The PS Vita version is due a few weeks later on October 16th in North America and October 19th in PAL territories.
Jet Set Radio will cost $9.99/£6.49 on PSN, $9.99/£5.99 on Steam and 800 Microsoft Points on XBLA.
