Sony secures trademarks for “Rain” and “Until Dawn”Written by: / / No Comments
Based on what we saw at E3 2012 Sony appears to have a reinvigorated interest in investing in original videogame projects rather than a slew of sequels. Reports from multiple sources suggest that the platform holder will unveil two new titles at gamescom next week, and recent trademark filings by the company may reveal the names of both games.
Sony secured the trademark for “Rain” in both the US and the European Union on July 30th, while a trademark for “Until Dawn” was also filed during the past few months. Both are classified as videogame software.
Be sure to tune in to Sony’s gamescom press conference at 5pm GMT next Tuesday, August 14th, to see if either of these games will be featured in the company’s line-up. El33tonline will be travelling to Cologne, Germany to provide in-depth coverage of gamescom so don’t miss out on all the exciting announcements that are sure to take place during the show.
