Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophy patch lands in Japan next weekWritten by: / / No Comments
Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of the most highly regarded and memorable PS3 exclusives around but there’s just one caveat holding it back from greatness in the minds of some gamers – it lacks Trophy support.
Thankfully Kojima Productions has promised to remedy the situation by releasing a patch that not only adds 34 Trophies to MGS4 but also allows players to fully install the game rather than partially install it between chapters as was the case in the original release.
Earlier today the developer announced via Twitter that the patch will be deployed in Japan on Monday, August 6th. Whether this means that those of us in the West will receive it on the same day is anybody’s guess until we get official confirmation from KojiPro.
How many of you still have MGS4 in your collection and will be replaying it for Trophies once the patch is released? Let us know in the comments.
