If you’ve completed Darksiders and earned specific Achievements and Trophies in the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC version of the 2010 action adventure game, then you’ve already earned yourself some legendary in-game items.
Developer Vigial recently let Darksiders fans know that the team is keen to reward players of their original game with in-game items of the ‘Legendary’ variety, with an armour piece and a scythe.
Here’s what Vigil has to say:
“Players who played the first Darksiders will unlock the Pauldron of the Horsemen in Darksiders II. This level 5 legendary armor piece boosts all Death’s stats as well as his critical damage.
“Gamers who have finished the game on any difficulty will also earn a level 1 legendary scythe called the Chaos Fang which will boost Death’s damage and critical damage.”
Remember: The unlocks are based on the Achievements and Trophies you’ve earned on the various platforms.
Darksiders II is out on August 14th in North America and August 17th in Europe and August 21st in South Africa and the UK, across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with a Wii U release slated for later this year – look over our previous coverage for much more media and details.
