BioWare Community Coordinator Tully Ackland has confirmed via Twitter that a Mass Effect related announcement will take place tonight.

He wrote:

“Good morning! #MassEffect fans should keep an eye out for news that’ll come out later today ”

The EA Summer Showcase is scheduled to take place at 8pm GMT tonight so it’s likely that the announcement will occur during this presentation. The reveal could be a number of things, ranging from first official details regarding Mass Effect 3 single-player DLC to news that ME3 will be a Wii U launch title.
