The latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu has some great news for Final Fantasy III fans. Square Enix has included an English text option in the upcoming PSP release, thus making it import friendly for those of us who can’t read Japanese. To access this option all you need to do is ensure that your PSP’s (or PS Vita’s) language is set to English.
The Final Fantasy III remake had already been translated into English for its appearance on the DS in 2006 so it makes sense why Square Enix would include this option. The publisher has yet to announce any plans to bring the PSP game over to the West and it seems unlikely that it ever will.
Final Fantasy III will be released on September 20th in Japan.
