The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has already been out for a few weeks in Europe but North American gamers will have to wait until the end of August to sample these remastered PS2 platformers. Series developer Insomniac Games recently announced that the ‘Ratchet & Clank Collection’ will be available at retailers and via PSN on August 28th for $29.99.
The Collection features 1080p remasters of the first three games in the series: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. The bundle features Trophy and 3D support (720p) as well as online multiplayer for the last entry in the trilogy.
As an added bonus the Collection will come with a Ratchet & Clank 10th anniversary Avatar and a demo for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, which is due out later this year on PS3 and PS Vita.
