[Update] EA has since formally announced and dated the Battlefield 4 beta – get the details here. [End of Update]
Late last week it was (accidentally) revealed on Origin that those of us who pre-order the upcoming shooter from EA and Danger Close, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, will gain entry to the beta test for the next Battlefield game from EA and DICE, Battlefield 4.
The offer was quickly replaced and the official Battlefield Blog denied the existence of Battlefield 4 (for now), but now today, again, EA and DICE have together made mention of the Battlefield 4 beta with the release of a new Medal of Honor: Warfighter video:
Medal of Honor Warfighter – Fire Team Multiplayer Developer Commentary
Like the video says, you’ll need to pre-order the Limited Edition version of Medal of Honor: Warfighter in order to gain entry to the Battlefield 4 beta, but don’t expect that online test to arrive any time soon – late 2013 would be our best guess.
Are you going to pre-order Warfighter to get into the Battlefield 4 beta?
