The holiday season just wouldn’t be the same without a brand new title starring Sonic to play. Clearly Sega shares this sentiment because last November the publisher brought us Sonic Generations and this holiday will mark the release of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed – a follow-up to 2010’s mascot kart racer Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
Sega recently confirmed that the sequel will be released across multiple platforms on November 16th in European territories and November 20th in the US. The PC and Wii U versions have yet to be dated.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed adds plenty of new modes, characters, tracks and gameplay mechanics to the mix, including terraforming tracks and transforming vehicles that are able to take to the sea and sky.
One thing’s for certain – if the game can live up to the promise of its primary concept demonstrated in the CG trailer below, then it will be an essential purchase for Sega fans!
