If you remember the days when the word ‘Ultima’ sent shivers down RPG players’ collective spines and ‘Lord British’ was to be both feared and celebrated in the gaming community, then you’ll want to take a look at Ultima Forever, a free-to-play online RPG currently in development at EA… and BioWare.
BioWare? What is going on?!

“Accept the challenge from Lady British and save the land of Britannia. Play as the Fighter or the Mage and travel alone or with friends, restore virtue and become the Avatar!”
Lady British? What is going on?!
Releasing under EA’s Play4Free label (which includes Battlefield Heroes, Need For Speed and Battlefield Play4Free), and in development at BioWare Mythic, Ultima Forever is currently in Beta and you can sign up to test it out over here.
