Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 has formally been announced for a Western release and, like the Japanese version of the game, will release in 2013 across Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
What’s even better (for those of you in the vicinity of Paris, France) is that a playable demo of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is currently available at the Japan Expo in the city.
According to publisher Namco Bandai Games and developer CyberConnect2, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be presented in “glorious 3D for ultimate Ninja immersion,” the first game in the series to support stereo 3D.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is said to feature the most extensive character roster of the series yet, allowing fans to “engage with a huge number of their favourite personalities from the Naruto universe, be they friend or foe.”
In the story mode of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, players will be able to live out some of the epic events that the village of Konoha has been through, “while the game’s electrifying fights will be punctuated with massive scale boss battles, including a fearsome confrontation with the gargantuan Nine-Tails.”
You can see snippets of that fight in the recently released debut trailer for the game over here.
Members of CyberConnect2 will be on hand at the currently on-the-go 13th annual Japan Expo, which takes place from July 5th until July 8th in Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, France.
“After I tried my hardest to finish the Paris Marathon in April but just couldn’t make it,” joked President of CyberConnect2, Hiroshi Matsuyama, “I feel like I owe something back to this amazing city.”
“So I’m very excited to be presenting the first ever hands-on of our newest Naruto game at Japan Expo today. It’s the perfect way to say thank you to the people of Paris and Europe for all their support!”
