Following the announcement and launch date details for Nintendo’s 3DS XL late last month, Nintendo South Africa has confirmed a release date for the handheld console in the country.

In South Africa, the 3DS XL will launch on July 28th, the same day as Europe and half a month ahead of the United States.

The 3DS XL will launch at a recommended retail price of R2 349 in South Africa, and will be available in three colour configurations: Silver/Black, Red/Black and Blue/Black.
