Ahead of the release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Ubisoft went and announced that a paid downloadable add-on pack would be available on July 3rd to provide players of the tactical shooter with additional multiplayer maps and weapons, as well as a new gameplay mode.

Ubisoft has now unfortunately delayed the DLC until further notice. Regarding the release of the ‘Arctic Strike’ DLC, the publisher said in a statement:

“We decided to take a small amount of extra time to further polish the content. The pack is planned for release later in July and the exact release date will be announced as soon as possible.”

When it was originally announced, the Arctic Strike DLC for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was pegged at a price of 800 MS Points over Xbox LIVE, and $9.99 over PlayStation Network.

We’ll let you know when Ubisoft announces a new release date for the content. The question is, will you buy it when it’s released? How are you enjoying Future Soldier multiplayer?
