US PlayStation Store Update for June 26th: Resident Evil Chronicles: HD Collection, YouTube app for PS Vita

This week’s PlayStation Store Update is simply sensational – serving up tons of new content that is sure to contain a nugget or two for each and every member of the PlayStation Nation. PS Vita owners can now download the long-awaited YouTube app while PSP players have something to cheer about this week in the shape of Unchained Blades – a new JRPG dungeon crawler from some of the developers who worked on the Grandia and Lunar games.

PS3 players naturally have the most new content to wade through this week. There’s new DLC for Gran Turismo 5, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Mass Effect 3, while the PS3 Full Games category is packed with highly anticipated titles such as The Amazing Spider-Man and the first two Uncharted games in digital format for the first time.

If you’re a fan of PlayStation Move shooters as I am, then you won’t want to miss out on the Resident Evil Chronicles: HD Collection. This bundle packs in two classic Wii titles – Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles – remastered in HD with trophy and online leaderboard support. While you don’t need a Move to play these games, the peripheral is perfectly suited to rail shooters in my experience.
