Live-action Steel Battalion short film released ahead of launch this week

Written by: / / No Comments

Capcom and From Software have released a live-action short film based in the world of the pair’s upcoming Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor in the hopes of bringing to life the harsh, explosive and sweary realities of the Kinect-controlled mech (READ: Vertical Tank) game.

Acting as Steel Battalion’s introduction sequence, the video was directed by the renowned Mamoru Oshii and includes lovably poor acting, lots of foul language and more than its fair share of intrigue and explosions.
