UK Software Chart: FIFA 12 dominates during week of June 16th

Written by: / / No Comments

FIFA 12 managed to secure top spot on this week’s UK All-Format Chart thanks to the football fever that is currently gripping Europe as Euro 2012 heads into the quarterfinal stage. The success of FIFA 12 pushed both Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Max Payne 3 down by one spot, while new release Lollipop Chainsaw took fourth position with 61% of consumers purchasing the Xbox 360 version and 39% opting for the game on PS3.

Diablo III performed well to claim sixth position (sixteen places ahead of where it was last week) while Gravity Rush also exceeded expectations by slotting into eleventh spot on debut. Digital sales of this PS Vita release aren’t included in Chart Track’s data so it’s likely that the game shifted an impressive number of units during its first few days on sale.
