Minecraft is currently the second most played game on Xbox LIVE. That’s according to the weekly Xbox LIVE activity chart which shows that Minecraft moved up from third place last week, overtaking Call of Duty: Black Ops to secure second, beaten only by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Minecraft is the first non-Call of Duty game to overtake Black Ops on the chart since it launched in November 2011. Even more interesting is that Major Nelson tweeted that he’s “pretty sure this is the first time an XBLA title has hit #2.”
