Bethesda Softworks has announced that mounted combat will be coming to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
According to the publisher, mounted combat was a highly-requested feature, along with the recently added Kinect support for Xbox 360 and new kill cameras. Mounted combat will be added for free in update 1.6 and will allow you to do “melee and ranged combat while riding a horse.”
Update 1.6 will also add a number of bug fixes, which you can read more about over here. The update is due out on consoles and PC soon, but PC gamers can test the new feature out now in Steam beta.
