A demo for the Kinect title Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is now available for Gold members to download from Xbox LIVE. Weighing in at 1.01GB, the demo will give you a chance to commandeer one of the game’s signature Vertical Tanks and sample its innovative mix of traditional and motion-based controls.

You can queue up the demo over here, and if you’re not a Gold member be sure to visit the link next week when the sample opens up to all Xbox LIVE users.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will be released exclusively for Xbox 360 with Kinect on June 19th in the US and June 22nd in European territories.
