Metro: Last Light live-action short film welcomes us to a disturbing futureWritten by: / / No Comments
THQ and 4A Games have been teasing us for some weeks now with a countdown clock and a snippet of a trailer, but now, today, the full (and creepy) live-action short film based in the world of the pair’s post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, Metro: Last Light, has finally arrived.
What lead to the events of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light? How are survivors able to continue to live in such harsh, demanding conditions while fending off all manner of horrifically mutated ‘creatures?’
Watch the five-minute long Enter the Metro live-action film to discover these disturbing answers:
“The Moscow Metro. A monumental feat of Soviet engineering, with a dark secondary purpose – to serve as a refuge in the event of an atomic attack.
“As the Cold War thawed and the threat of nuclear annihilation seemed to fade, this purpose was forgotten – except by a few, waiting for the signal, ready to open the vaults… the last refuge for the remnants of mankind.”
