Last Friday PS Vita fans received some unexpected news – the highly anticipated PS3 title Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will also be released on PS Vita, on the same day as the PS3 version! The game will be released sometime during the latter part of this year and will feature cross platform save functionality between the two versions. As you would expect, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time on Vita also makes use of the system’s innovative controls by featuring such conveniences as SixAxis aiming.
The game will boast a number of playable characters, including Sly’s love interest Carmelita Fox as well as some of his ancestors that he encounters on this time-travelling adventure that picks up where Sly 3 left off.
Here’s the debut trailer for the Vita version of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time:
It’s difficult to know if this is actual Vita gameplay we are seeing in the trailer or rather just PS3 footage. Both versions of the game should be playable at E3 next month so hopefully we don’t have to wait very long before getting a better idea of how the Vita version looks and plays.
