If you’re a Call of Duty Elite subscriber on either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 then you’re going to want to be playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for as long as possible from now until next week.

Why’s that? Because Infinity Ward has kept the Double XP celebration going on the game’s Elite playlists!

From Infinity Ward’s Twitter account:

Xbox 360 Call of Duty Elite Members:

“Double XP on the #MW3 Elite playlists @Xbox 360 were so much fun we’re going to keep it going through collection 2 release on 5/22!”

PlayStation 3 Call of Duty Elite Members:

“Want more Double XP? We’re keeping the @playstation #MW3 Elite playlists going all week with Double XP!”

Infinity Ward has also formally announced the brand new Senior Community Manager for Call of Duty who will, in part, take over duties from Infinity Ward’s ex-creative strategist, Robert Bowling.

Tina Palacios

Who will be taking on this heavy task? None of than Tina Palacios (previously known as Tina Sanchez, still known as Teanah on Twitter).

Palacios previously worked as community manager for all of 1Up and IGN, so she’s certainly got the experience necessary to fend back hordes of fanatical gamers. Not coincidentally, Palacios is also a huge Call of Duty fan, as this farewell page on IGN can attest.

Good luck!
