Rayman Origins demo bounding onto 3DS eShop this Thursday

The 3DS may be last in line to receive Rayman Origins but that doesn’t mean it will be any less enjoyable than its PC, console and PS Vita counterparts. It’s going to be very interesting to see how the fantastically colourful and bizarre levels of this excellent platformer appear in stereoscopic 3D, and to see how Ubisoft has utilised the 3DS’ bottom touch screen to enhance gameplay.

Today the publisher announced that a demo for Rayman Origins will be available on the UK 3DS eShop from this Thursday, May 17th. While it hasn’t been stated what levels the demo will feature, there’s a good chance that it will include the same opening few stages as the console and PS Vita sample.

Rayman Origins will be released for 3DS on June 8th in European territories and sometime later this year in the US. Be sure to browse through El33tonline’s previous coverage of this imaginative platformer to see why it’s worthy of your attention.
