Charming batch of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance screens releasedWritten by: / / No Comments
The Kingdom Hearts series is well-known for its slick animation and vibrant visual style. Legendary Final Fantasy character designer Tetsuya Nomura once again serves as director on the latest iteration of Kingdom Hearts so you can be sure that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will not disappoint from a visual standpoint.
Kingdom Hearts 3D is the first major game in the series to steer clear of including a sizeable cast of Final Fantasy characters. In fact, the only Final Fantasy reference you’ll see during the entire game is a single Moogle. Instead KH3D is loaded with characters from another Square Enix title that Nomura was involved with – The World Ends with You for the DS.
Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots that gives us a glimpse at these characters conversing with playable protagonists Sora and Riku. Take a look at these screens along with some character art below:
Kingdom Hearts 3D will be released exclusively for the 3DS on July 20th in European territories and July 31st in the US. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this potentially great action RPG.
