Ahead of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s release later this month, Ubisoft has announced the game’s first set of downloadable content.
Called ‘Arctic Strike,’ the DLC will release on July 3rd over Xbox LIVE (for 800 MS Points) and PlayStation Network (for $9.99), and is set to include new multiplayer maps (with snow-covered, icebound themes, no doubt) set in places like Moscow and the Arctic.
A brand new multiplayer mode will also be included in the DLC, while six new weapons and an additional map for the co-operative Guerilla Mode also feature.
Until we hear more about the Arctic Strike DLC, we can pass some time by watching a recently released Ghost Recon: Future Soldier trailer which aims to educate us about the ‘Bodark,’ a group of “elite and fearless soldiers equipped with state of the art weaponry.”
They’re also “dangerous,” apparently, and take inspiration from Russian werewolf legends. Bizarre:
Ghost Recon : Future Soldier – Bodarks: A threat to the Ghosts
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is out on May 22nd in the US and May 25th in Europe and the UK, across Xbox 360 and PS3.
