2K Games and developer Irrational Games have today announced a new release date for the pair’s exciting first-person action adventure game, Bioshock Infinite – and it’s not in 2012.
Irrational’s Ken Levine said in a statement:
“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary.
“Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”
Previously expected to release in mid-October this year, BioShock Infinite is now expected to launch worldwide on the 26th of February, 2013.
