The PlayStation Move has been around for a couple of years now and few titles have tapped into its potential to change the way we play games. At this point, the wand-waving, action-adventure title Sorcery seems like the most likely candidate to demonstrate what the Move is truly capable of when it’s released in a couple of weeks’ time.
Sony has posted a fascinating behind the scenes video that explores the ‘magic of the Move’ in terms of how the controller functions in Sorcery. The game was designed from the ground up to utilise PlayStation Move and this is very evident in certain gameplay scenarios. For instance, you can curve projectile-based spells around obstacles by tilting your wrist when you flick the Move forward. The video also reveals some elements of Sorcery that I had never heard of before, including the game’s innovative-looking alchemy and combo systems.

Sorcery will be released exclusively for PS3 on May 22nd in the US and May 23rd in European territories. Head over here for more coverage of this magical Move title.
